Won't stop until I'm fit

Ask me anything   About me   Why I'm trying   Music that makes me move

Getting fit, one day at a time.

Within the first TWO MINUTES of this video the actress has to defend her eating choices multiple times. And you can hear the disapproval in the interviewer’s voice at the fact that she’s drinking coke and eating pasta with cheese.

I’m just so unimpressed. Talk about pressure to have a skinny figure. Interesting to see it’s not just a Hollywood/ Western ideal.

projectlifting:

Trust me when I say weights will not make you bulk! I get a lot of questions about my fitness regime, there is no secret. I eat clean 90% of the time and weight train 5 x a week. I have been doing this no excuses for the last 10 weeks. Progress is slow, never be put off if you don’t see quick results. Its routine and constantly repeating those healthy habits that will pay off.
Be Healthy, Be Happy, Be you!

Woman Goes To The Gym For 100 Days And Makes This Timelapse Video :) →

I know I’m not the only one who can relate to her feelings of self-worth and low self-esteem due to weight. She’s such an inspiration.

Things a scale can tell you:

How much you weigh.

Things a measuring tape can tell you:

How many inches/centimetres different areas of your body are.

What these two things can’t tell you:

How great of a person you are.

How many people love and care about you.

How important you are to others.

How smart, intelligent and creative you are.

How much you mean to other people.

How hard working you are.

How caring, kind and strong you are.

And so much more.

Stop using these two things to determine how your day will be, or how you feel about yourself, or how you decide your self-worth. You’re so much more than that.
